The simulacrum of St Vitório is located on the high altar of the chapel in the Palácio Caldas, in Lisbon. It is an example of the earliest typology, featuring only a silk gauze covering the skull and a nearly complete skeleton. The simulacrum is posed with the elbow resting and the head supported by the hand.

A paper cartouche bearing the inscription “S. VICTORIS M.” identifies the corpo santo. The simulacrum is dressed as a warrior, wearing richly embroidered garments adorned with gold and silver metallic threads. The limbs are wrapped in decorative gauzes, and the legs, feet, and hands are covered with metallic mesh, adding to the opulence and symbolic protection of the martyr.
