St Vitória

St Vitória is the other simulacrum housed within the side altar (Epistle side) of the Igreja paroquial de St Nicolau, symmetrically arranged opposite the simulacrum of St Bonifácio. Like the latter, it is integrated into the altarpiece and features visible openings at various points of the body, including the chest, arms, and legs, revealing the underlying bones. Some of these openings are covered with a fine transparent fabric.

In February 2025, a technical study was carried out, including the opening of the urn, 3D scanning, radiographic and endoscopic imaging, and sample collection. These procedures enabled a comprehensive evaluation of the structure and condition of the simulacrum.
