St Vicente<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O simulacrum<\/em> is located inside the altar of the retable in St Michael’s Chapel, belonging to the Major Seminary of Coimbra. The altar-urn, made of polychrome and gilded wood in Rococo style, has a glazed front opening through which the simulacrum is visible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The head, slightly inclined to the right, rests on a pillow. At the top of the head, a flower crown is visible, decorated with polychrome paper (white, beige, and green), and golden metallic leaves and wires. Except for the flower crown, no other martyrdom attributes were found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O simulacrum<\/em> enverga uma t\u00fanica longa em tafet\u00e1 bege, bordada com fios de seda policromados (branco, rosa, salm\u00e3o, verde e preto), folha dourada e prateada, e fios dourados e prateados, formando pequenos motivos florais. Ao n\u00edvel das pernas destacam-se duas aberturas retangulares que permitem visualizar os ossos no interior. Na cintura, sobre a t\u00fanica, existe um cinto largo em tecido de cetim azul-escuro, decorado ao centro com passamanarias douradas. Por fim, um manto, preso ao pesco\u00e7o, prolonga-se at\u00e9 aos p\u00e9s, cobrindo os ombros, bra\u00e7os, antebra\u00e7os, coxas e pernas. O simulacrum<\/em> apresenta luvas em renda met\u00e1lica prateada e cal\u00e7a sand\u00e1lias abertas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside the urn, there is a fabric tag with an inscription in Latin that can be translated as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
